About LSC
Founded in 1975, we are a competitive, not-for-profit members club run by volunteer parents. LSC was the first Surrey club to be awarded Swim 21 accreditation and has delivered progressive coaching for five decades.
LSC has experienced rapid recent membership growth and demand for squad places and Swim Trials is correspondingly high. We welcome competitive swimmers of all ages and abilities.
Performance Pathway
From the Swim Academy for beginners right through to National Squad for elite performers — LSC's structured pathway develops every swimmer at their own pace.

What Families Say
"My daughter joined the Swim Academy barely able to swim a length. Three years on she's racing for the Junior Club Squad and loves every session. The coaches genuinely care about every swimmer's progress, not just the fastest ones."
"What stood out to us was how welcoming the club felt from day one. Great communication from coaches, a strong sense of community at galas, and a clear pathway for my son as he's progressed through the squads."
"I've swum with a few clubs over the years and LSC has the best coaching set-up I've trained under. Structured, challenging, and the coaches actually know each swimmer individually — not just a number in a lane."
